About Projects

Sometimes WPIRG's work doesn't exactly fit into the "Action Group" model. Sometimes a few volunteers, the Board of Directors, or staff, make a project a priority and/or we receive external funding to carry-out the work. This section of the website carries information on all of these projects.
If you are interested in starting a project, submit a request to staff. In your proposal you should cover off the who, what, why, when, where, and how. You should discuss how your project fits in with our mission (see wpirg.org) and why WPIRG's participation is appropriate (i.e. the project addresses a need that is not being met by anyone or any other group).
Fill in this WPIRG Proposal Form , and submit it to the Coordinator of Projects and Organizational Development.
