Walk, bike, bus, or even ride your unicycle down to Victoria Park on Sunday September 14th
between NOON and 5:00 pm and enjoy an educational celebration of alternative transportation
options set in a fun, family friendly atmosphere.
Learn more about how you and your family can reduce your environmental impact through
your transportation choices.

- Free Bike Tune-ups

Lots of fun activities for the kids all afternoon.
- Learn bicycle safety, including how to wear a helmet properly!
- Find out your "ecological footprint" and learn ways to reduce your impact on the environment.
There will also be toys and games including a giant parachute, frisbess, jump ropes, giant
twister, and giant checkers!
As well as face painting,sidewalk chalk and bowling.
GRT Bus
Jump on the bus and have a look around while it's parked for the day. Learn how to operate the "Bus 'n' Bike" carriers.
Bike Forest
Ride some of the craziest, zaniest bikes you've ever seen including:
- Hula bike: put your hips in motion, this one has no pedals.
- Treadmill bike: you'll move only as fast as you can walk -- or run.
- Kick bike: like a scooter with one BIG tire.

Recycle Cycles
Learn how to fix a flat tire! Recycle Cycles will be hosting a free Bike Shop.
Recycle Cycles is a community bicycle resource centre which provides:
- Inexpensive, reconditioned bicycles for children and adults
- Facilities for individuals to repair their own bikes.
- A large supply of used parts.
Skatium Skate Park
Bring your skateboard. This is the one time you're actually invited to play on the street.
