Children's Activities

Lots of fun activities for the kids all afternoon. There will be toys and games including a giant parachute, frisbess, jump ropes, giant twister, and giant checkers! There will also be face painting, sidewalk chalk and bowling.

GRT Bus

Jump on the bus and have a look around while it's parked for the day. Learn how to operate the "Bus 'n' Bike" carriers.

Bring your skateboard. This is the one time you're actually invited to play on the street.

Recycle Cycles

Learn how to patch an inner tube! Recycle Cycles will be holding workshops and demonstrating bike repairs.

Recycle Cycles is a community bicycle resource centre which provides:

  • Inexpensive, reconditioned bicycles for children and adults
  • Facilities for individuals to repair their own bikes.
  • A large supply of used parts.

Lidz on Kidz Hemet Fitting workshop

What does a helmet really do to for you? Not much if it isn't fitted properly! Ruth Leeman of the Brain Injury Association will show you how to properly adjust your helmet to get full protection.
