Sixth Annual Local Motion Car Free Festival

Sunday September 14th to Friday September 19th, 2008


Held in honour of International Car Free Day, Local Motion Festival is an annual week long educational celebration of alternative transportation options and sustainable planning initiatives, organized by the Waterloo Public Interest Research Group. Activities are designed for all ages, and all events are free. Some of this year's planned activities include: a bike auction, bike repair workshops, speakers, a film screening on public transportation issues, and live music.
